BASIC PURPOSE:    



New business development (sales to new customers) of State Streets products and solutions across Global Services, Global Markets and Global Exchange, with specific emphasis on the Investment Management and the Collective Funds market segment.





MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:    



  • Manage the sales process to achieve sales and business goals.

  • Achieve regional financial targets for new business and sales pipeline development. 

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the regional sales strategy for Asset Manager.   

  • Develop and maintain relationships with prospective clients and industry consultants.   

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders, including other business lines and corporate functions.

  • Provide suitable participation and governance in new buisensses development activities. Participate in the Regional Deal Team Committees to facilitate the development of an appropriate risk culture and financial discipline.

  • Ensure that appropriate management information is produced and distributed on a functional, regional, and where appropriate legal entity basis.

  • Maintain standards of conduct and integrity within the business and ensure compliance with industry practice, company policies, statute and regulatory requirements in all matters.





Education and Experience



  • 10+ years experience in financial services areas inclusive of sales, account and relationship management. Strategy, business and senior operational roles also a consideration.

  • 5+ years experience / coverage of Asian markets.



Skills/Knowledge  



  • Proven sales, management and leadership skills.

  • Proven communication and relationship management skills.

  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and influence change.

  • Ability to influence cross-organizational plans, sales efforts, development efforts and organizational priorities.
