Our client is an established venture capital firm with a great track record of early stage investing across a broad variety of tech sectors. The firm is looking to raise new capital from both their existing investor base and new investors, and it is looking to bring on board an experienced investor relations or fundraising professional to do so. The current team is of an extremely high calibre and the CEO is one of the most respected people in the VC space. The role will offer the right person the opportunity to both work at high level, in forming the fund’s market strategy, as well as at a granular one, in gaining an understanding of the fund’s porfolio and deal rationale.

  • You will be responsible for managing new interactions within the broader LP universe
  • To an extent you will also be responsible for managing relationships with the current investor base
  • Additionally, you will take responsibility for managing DDQs, RFPs and other investor queries

YOUR PROFILE:

  • You will have strong intellectual horsepower and an ability to converse with deal professionals in an analytical way
  • You will be able to help the partners in defining the fund’s strategy in a high level, strategic way
  • You must be able to work independently and have the ability to manage a fundraising process with limited supervision
