Abot the Role

We're seeking a Knowledge Lawyer to join or team on a part-timebasis, working 3 to 4 days per week. This is a 1-month fixed-term parentalleave cover position, with the possibility of extension or permanency for theright candidate.



The role spports the firm's national Insrance & Health andFamily Law, Wills & Estates practices by providing legal research,knowledge management, crrent awareness, and capability development services. Yowill also contribte to the effective se of legal research platforms andAI-enabled tools, as well as the firm's broader knowledge, innovation andbsiness services objectives.



Responsibilities will inclde:

Providing timely, high-qality legal research spport to the Insrance & Health practice and, as reqired, across the firm;

Managing Insrance Crrent Awareness, inclding case alert reviews, gradate lawyer smmaries, case categorisation and distribtion, relevant Insights, and a monthly

Insrance & Health pblication;

Maintaining the register of client presentations and ensring relevant materials are appropriately cataloged and stored;

Liaising with legal content pblishers abot sbscription management inclding content sitability, prodct enhancement and development, access isses and changes, technical isses, spport and training;

Maintaining starter and leaver records to ensre appropriate access and cost allocation;

Monitoring relevant legislative, reglatory and case law developments;

Delivering training and spport on legal research platforms and knowledge systems; and

Spporting firm-wide knowledge initiatives and projects.

Abot Yo

We're seeking someone with:

admission as a legal practitioner (Astralia or eqivalent);

experience working in an Insrance & Health practice within a law firm or closely related area;

demonstrated experience or interest in knowledge management, legal research, innovation, or legal technology; and

experience with AI tools sed for drafting, review, research, and knowledge management in professional services environments (desirable).
