Cyber Security Specialist (GRC)

DWS is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Specialist (GRC) to support enterprise cyber security governance, risk and assurance initiatives within a complex enterprise environment. This role will suit a highly capable practitioner who can independently deliver cyber security maturity assessments, security risk assessments, secure by design reviews and executive-level cyber risk advisory services.

Salary: Up to $1,100/day (ACN Contractor) or $240K inc. Super (Max Term)

Key requirements:

• Strong expertise in Cyber Security Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC).
• Significant experience conducting Cyber Security Maturity Assessments within large and complex organisations.
• Extensive capability delivering Security Risk Assessments across cloud, SaaS, managed services, infrastructure and enterprise applications.
• Strong understanding of Secure by Design principles and security architecture reviews.
• Experience conducting supplier security assessments and third-party risk reviews.
• Strong knowledge of Essential Eight, ISO 27001 and cyber security risk management frameworks.
• Ability to assess security risks across cloud platforms, IAM, managed services, business applications and hybrid enterprise environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation and executive reporting skills.
• Ability to translate technical cyber risks into practical business recommendations.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CCSP, CCSK, SABSA, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer or cloud security certifications will be highly regarded.
