Your new roleWe are seeking a hands-on Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to support the consolidation of cloud environments and migration of workloads between cloud platforms.This is a delivery-focused role suited to someone who enjoys working directly with infrastructure, automation and cloud technologies. You'll be responsible for assessing existing environments, executing migration activities, automating deployments, and helping bring multiple cloud estates together in a secure and scalable manner.You will work across cloud infrastructure, platform engineering and automation initiatives while collaborating with a broad range of technical teams and stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Deep Azure cloud engineering expertise, with AWS exposure highly regarded
- Proven experience delivering cloud migration and environment consolidation projects
- Strong understanding of Landing Zones, cloud foundations and platform engineering principles
- Linux administration and automation experience
- Infrastructure engineering background with a focus on cloud and systems rather than software development
- Experience operating within enterprise or highly regulated environments
- Financial services, trading or similar industry experience would be advantageous
- Initial 6-month contract with a strong likelihood of extension or longer-term opportunities
- Opportunity to work on a large-scale cloud migration and integration programme
- Exposure to modern cloud, automation and infrastructure technologies
- Collaborative engineering environment with a broad technology landscape
- Sydney-based role with flexible working arrangements
