Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We're looking for an Account Manager - New Business to join our ever evolving Sales team within Global Payments and help shape the future of global commerce.




What you'll own

• Identify, develop, and win new merchant business opportunities across your assigned territory, driving sustainable revenue growth


• Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, from prospecting and lead generation through negotiation and contract signature


• Develop and maintain strong relationships with referral partners, banks, ECR partners, and other lead-generation channels


• Present payment solutions and value-added services, tailoring recommendations to customer needs and business objectives


• Track sales performance, pipeline activity, and onboarding progress to ensure successful customer acquisition and long-term value

What you'll bring

• Proven experience in new business development, sales, or account management, ideally within payments, fintech, banking, or financial services


• Strong prospecting, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with a demonstrated ability to acquire new customers


• Self-motivated and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to manage territory planning and sales activities independently


• Excellent communication skills in German and English, both written and verbal


• Strong organizational, reporting, and analytical skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office tools

It's a bonus if you have

• Experience working with merchant acquiring, payment solutions, or value-added payment services


• Established network within banking, retail, hospitality, or related sectors


• Experience collaborating with referral partners or indirect sales channels

Additional requirements

• Valid Category B driving license


• Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned region


• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment


• Collaborative approach with a strong commitment to customer success and team performance
