The Role As a Software Engineer within the Front-office Engineering team, you will work side-by-side with Quantitative Researchers and Portfolio Managers. Your responsibilities will be diverse, including:
• Onboarding new datasets
• Implementing new trading signals
• Developing portfolio optimisation tools
• Building data visualisation frameworks
• Enhancing the research platform
• Performance tuning existing code using efficient numerical algorithms and cluster-computing solutions

Essential Requirements
• 5 years of professional software engineering experience, ideally in quantitative or data-intensive environments
• Strong Python skills with hands-on experience using Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, statsmodels, and scikit-learn
• Proven experience working on production systems, with a solid grasp of testing, monitoring, and deployment best practices
• Comfortable with Linux environments and Git version control
• Working knowledge of at least one relational or NoSQL database (e.g., MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
