To continue its strong track record, the Hamburg office is looking to expand its team. You will work in lean deal teams with significant responsibility from an early stage. • As an associate, you will join the deal team and be involved end-to-end across the deal cycle, from sourcing to deal structuring and execution
• Focus on financial analysis and key due diligence workstreams
• Build financial models (e.g. LBO models) and prepare investment committee materials
• Coordinate external advisors during the due diligence process
• Hands-on involvement in post-investment monitoring of the portfolio companies

Who we are looking for

• Strong background in M&A from a reputable investment bank, strategy consulting or private equity
• Excellent financial modelling skills and commercial judgement, as well as advanced people skills and a style that is effective with respect to medium-sized business owners
• Strong work ethic, discipline, a balanced personality and room to grow
• Business fluent in German and English
