Our client, a leading enterprise organization undergoing a significant technology transformation, is seeking an experienced Cloud Project Manager to lead the delivery of strategic cloud initiatives across a complex hybrid infrastructure environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering cloud transformation programs involving large-scale private cloud platforms, infrastructure modernization, data center technologies, and selected public cloud services. This role requires strong stakeholder management, technical understanding of enterprise infrastructure, and proven experience delivering complex technology projects within highly regulated environments.
The Role
- Lead end-to-end delivery of cloud and infrastructure transformation projects.
- Manage project scope, budget, timeline, risks, dependencies, and resource allocation.
- Drive cloud adoption initiatives across private cloud and hybrid cloud environments.
- Work closely with infrastructure, architecture, security, application, and business teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Coordinate migration activities involving virtualized environments, storage, compute, network, and platform services.
- Facilitate governance forums, steering committee meetings, and executive project reporting.
- Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with enterprise architecture, security, compliance, and operational standards.
- Manage external vendors, system integrators, and technology partners.
- Develop and maintain project plans, RAID logs, status reports, and project documentation.
- Support organizational technology modernization initiatives and future cloud capabilities.
Your Profile
Project Management
- 8+ years of IT project management experience.
- Proven track record delivering enterprise-scale infrastructure or cloud transformation programs.
- Strong experience managing multiple workstreams across technical and business stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience operating within structured governance and regulatory environments.
Private Cloud & Infrastructure
- Strong hands-on understanding of enterprise private cloud platforms and on-premise infrastructure.
- Experience managing projects involving:
- VMware vSphere / vCloud environments
- Hypervisor technologies
- Enterprise storage platforms
- Compute and server infrastructure
- Data center modernization
- Backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Enterprise networking technologies
- Strong understanding of hybrid cloud architectures and infrastructure lifecycle management.
Public Cloud
- Experience delivering projects involving one or more public cloud providers:
- Microsoft Azure
- Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Understanding of cloud-native services, cloud governance, security controls, and migration methodologies.
- Experience coordinating cloud migration and cloud adoption initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
- PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum Master, or equivalent project management certification.
- Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud certification preferred.
- Experience working within financial services, capital markets, telecommunications, insurance, or other highly regulated enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with ITIL, enterprise architecture frameworks, and technology risk management.
