Responsible for generating direct sales opportunities from Greater China Institutions. Develop profitable Institutional business by building relationships with a diverse group of contacts and achieving sales across a number of different Greater China Institutions including pension funds, local authorities, multi-managers, platforms and Insurance Companies. Develop the brand and grow the external client base by developing key relationships in the direct channel and also through other key industry contacts.
Work with Asia Investment Specialists in order to achieve a market leading profile through various media routes. Provide an exceptional client experience. Assist with the collation of business plans, key account plans, joint consultant plans and joint client plans. Define target list and research/profile potential targets. Build relationships with prospects, clients and consultants and provide ongoing dedicated contact to ensure they receive timely updates on investment products, funds, market trends and competitor performance. Support Investment Directors with pitch preparation for large opportunities through background research on the target, sitting in on pitch rehearsals, identifying strengths or issues of importance to the target. Support the organisation of key corporate events for clients, prospects and investment consultants. Continually seek opportunities for improving the quality of information and service offered to clients, prospects and investment consultants. Proactively source and communicate relevant information to clients, prospects and investment consultants. Support the production and release of regular client, prospect and investment consultant communications. To drive and implement ad hoc sales related projects in line with global initiatives
To be considered, you will be a university graduate with a minimum of 15 years of relevant sales experiences. Understanding of the Institutional Sales marketplace. Knowledge of world markets, asset classes, investment products and investment strategy. Understanding of the Regulatory Environment. Awareness of key players and competitors in Investment market. Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese. Self-motivated, proactive and results oriented.
