A family office is seeking an Investment Analyst to join its small, close-knit investment team. It's an unusual opening for someone early in their career to sit close to the decision-makers and contribute directly to live investment thinking.

About the opportunity

Working across a multi-asset remit, you'll help source and stress-test ideas, carry out research, and support the team in turning analysis into real calls. As part of a lean set-up rather than a large institution, you'll take on a broad range of responsibilities and own your work from start to finish.

Your focus

1. Developing and refining investment ideas across a range of asset classes
2. Researching areas spanning equities, currencies and rates
3. Producing rigorous, well-checked analysis
4. Supporting the investment team on day-to-day activity

What we're after

1. Around two years of experience or less, ideally gained in research, equities, FX or rates, with some multi-asset exposure
2. A genuine flair for generating ideas
3. A roll-up-your-sleeves attitude: someone who delivers rather than just discusses
4. Sharp, consistent attention to detail (essential)
5. Comfort juggling priorities, with the drive and staying power a smaller firm calls for
6. Strong Mandarin, including fluent reading and writing (native level a real plus)
7. Open on background, whether sell-side, buy-side or proprietary
