A multi-billion-dollar China-based quant fund is scaling its global trading infrastructure and hiring a core developer to own critical low-latency systems. This is real systems ownership, not tickets and maintenance, and notably: Mandarin is not required.

What you'll do

1. Design, build and own low-latency trading and research systems: market data, order entry, simulation, monitoring and research interfaces
2. Take critical components from architecture through testing, production rollout, observability and maintenance
3. Diagnose latency, throughput, stability and correctness across networking, Linux and application layers
4. Work directly with researchers and traders on a shared, firm-wide codebase, with a real voice in architecture and performance trade-offs

What you'll bring

1. A background only at tier-1 quantitative or high-frequency trading houses; a firm requirement
2. 3+ years in low-latency, high-frequency, electronic-trading or other performance-critical systems
3. Modern C++17/20 on Linux, with strong memory, concurrency and lock-free programming
4. Low-latency networking and market-data experience; kernel bypass (e.g. ef_vi) is highly relevant
5. Practical eBPF, CPU/cache, profiling and hot-path optimization
6. Bonus points for: a dedicated core / systems developer background rather than generalist application work
