Project Manager - Technology / Cloud Migration / Financial Services - 60k to 100k

I am currently helping our Client seeking a Project/Programme Manager with Cloud experience to join the team in Hong Kong.

Your role

• Lead the end-to-end management of both small and large-scale projects throughout their lifecycle, ensuring alignment with program objectives, timelines, and budgets.
• Govern project managers from application vendors to ensure successful migration delivery.
• Collaborate with project sponsors and key stakeholders to develop and present business cases for approval by local and Group EXCOs.
• Prepare comprehensive program updates and presentations for senior management.
• Oversee project governance, monitor progress, and prepare detailed reports for Group and local PMO as per requirements.
• Conduct regular meetings with platform application teams and project teams to review status and address challenges.
• Coordinate with PMO to prepare updates for EXCO reporting.
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee off-shore delivery teams to ensure quality and timeliness.

Should have

• Experience in consulting, business operations, or project management, preferably within the financial services industry.
• Extensive experience managing large-scale cloud migration programs.
• Strong knowledge of program governance, vendor management, stakeholder communication, and multi-vendor environments.
• Skilled in risk management, budget control, and reporting within Agile or hybrid methodologies.
• Proven track record in managing complex change programs involving cloud technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to drive project delivery under tight timelines and across diverse teams.
• Skilled in anticipating issues, proposing innovative solutions, and managing evolving requirements effectively.
• Fluent in English and Cantonese.
