Key Responsibilities

• Conduct quantitative research, performance attribution, factor analysis, and backtesting to support investment decision-making across global portfolios.
• Assist in portfolio construction, optimisation, and risk-adjusted return analysis using statistical and quantitative modelling techniques.
• Build, maintain, and enhance investment data pipelines by integrating portfolio, benchmark, and market data from platforms such as Bloomberg, ClearWater, Wilshire, and internal systems.
• Support portfolio analytics and performance attribution processes, including vendor transitions, benchmark assignment governance, and resolution of data quality issues with investment teams and business units.
• Develop scalable analytics tools, research frameworks, and reporting solutions using Python/R, while contributing to machine learning, AI-driven analytics, and automation initiatives.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline, with 3-6 years of experience in quantitative research, investment analytics, asset management, insurance investments, or hedge funds.
• Strong understanding of portfolio analytics, multi-factor models, performance attribution, systematic investment strategies, and data-driven investment research.
• Advanced programming skills in Python and/or R, with hands-on experience in data engineering, SQL, ETL processes, and cloud-based analytics environments.
• Familiarity with investment and risk management platforms such as Bloomberg, MSCI Barra, Axioma, ClearWater, Wilshire, or equivalent quantitative analytics tools.
• Experience with data visualisation, dashboard development, and machine learning techniques, with the ability to communicate complex analytical insights to investment stakeholders effectively.
