Our client is an established international financial services organisation with a strong presence in Asia. As part of its continued growth in Hong Kong, the company is looking for an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join its commercial team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven sales professional who enjoys developing new client relationships, identifying business opportunities and delivering financial solutions to corporate customers.

Your Role
Reporting to the sales leadership team, you will be responsible for driving new business acquisition and revenue growth within the Hong Kong market.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across SME and corporate clients.
• Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, referrals, networking and industry events.
• Understand clients' business requirements and recommend suitable financial solutions.
• Manage the end-to-end sales process, from initial engagement and needs analysis through negotiation and onboarding.
• Develop relationships with key decision-makers, including senior management and C-suite stakeholders.
• Deliver against agreed revenue targets and sales KPIs.
• Maintain accurate sales pipeline and customer activity records through CRM systems.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition of newly acquired clients.
• Monitor market developments and identify potential areas for new business growth.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial services, ideally within business development or corporate sales.
• Proven experience in B2B sales and new client acquisition.
• Exposure to payments, foreign exchange, treasury solutions or other relevant financial products would be advantageous.
• Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated track record of achieving revenue targets and sales KPIs.
• Confident in engaging with senior corporate stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Highly proactive, commercially minded and comfortable developing business from new prospects.
• Ability to perform effectively both independently and within a fast-paced team environment.
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English.
