We are looking for an experienced Senior Director to lead and expand our Financial Institutions (FIG) coverage and institutional banking practice across Hong Kong and the APAC region.

You will manage high-level mandates (Director to MD level) for global banks, regional powerhouses, and top-tier Chinese financial institutions, placing senior coverage bankers, relationship managers, and product specialists.

1. Lead end-to-end executive mandates for FIG coverage, institutional banking, and cross-border financing teams.
2. Manage and deepen relationships with senior decision-makers across global and regional financial institutions in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Mainland China.
3. Drive market mapping, talent assessment, and strategic advisory for institutional clients.
4. Expand the firm’s commercial footprint and win new regional coverage mandates.

1. 10+ years of experience in corporate banking, FI coverage, or front-office financial services recruitment.
2. Deep domain expertise in institutional banking, transaction banking, or cross-border financing.
3. Professional fluency in Mandarin and English to service cross-border clients and candidates.
4. Proven track record in client management, stakeholder engagement, and leadership.
5. Ideally based in Shanghai, China
