Your new role
As a VP / AVP, Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting independent credit assessments and supporting sound credit decision-making across the corporate banking portfolio.
Key responsibilities include:
- Perform detailed credit analysis on corporate and institutional clients.
- Prepare and review credit applications, annual reviews, and transaction assessments.
- Assess financial statements, cash flow projections, industry risks, and business performance.
- Monitor portfolio quality and identify emerging credit risks.
- Work closely with Relationship Managers and business teams to structure credit facilities.
- Ensure compliance with internal credit policies, regulatory requirements, and risk frameworks.
- Present recommendations and support approvals through relevant credit committees.
- Participate in portfolio reviews, stress testing, and risk reporting exercises.
- Support regional transactions involving syndicated loans, trade finance, treasury, and structured financing products.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related discipline.
- 5+ years of relevant credit analysis experience within corporate banking, commercial banking, or financial institutions.
- Strong knowledge of financial statement analysis, credit risk assessment, and lending principles.
- Experience handling large corporate, multinational, or institutional client portfolios.
- Understanding of regulatory and risk management standards within banking.
- Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to present credit recommendations clearly.
- Ability to manage multiple transactions and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English is required; additional Asian language capability would be advantageous.
