Reporting to the Finance Team Head, the incumbent will serve as a key member within the finance team, with core responsibilities set out below:

2. Maintain investment schedules covering a broad spectrum of instruments such as bonds, structured notes, total return swaps, forwards, OTC derivatives, interest rate swaps and repurchase agreements.
3. Perform timely system data updates and conduct data reconciliation alongside Operations and front office teams.
4. Liaise with internal stakeholders including head office functions, front office business lines and the Risk Department to fulfil ad hoc and recurring data requests.
5. Update general ledger entries sourced from the valuation system; execute reconciliations against external broker statements as well as reporting deliverables submitted by front office teams.
6. Contribute to system upgrade and enhancement initiatives relevant to finance workflows.
7. Compile and deliver monthly KPI analytical reviews.
8. Undertake additional ad hoc assignments delegated by the team lead.
9. Job Requirements
10. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related academic discipline.
11. A minimum of four years of relevant working experience gained at large scale financial institutions; Big Four professional background is viewed favourably yet not mandatory.
12. Practical familiarity with diverse financial products, with particular exposure to bonds, derivatives, equity derivatives, structured products and repurchase transactions.
13. Sound technical knowledge of financial instruments and market operational frameworks.
14. Demonstrated capacity to work autonomously, complemented by robust analytical thinking, effective interpersonal communication, competent time management skills and meticulous attention to detail.
15. Proficient written and verbal communication in both English and Chinese; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
16. Candidates with relatively junior experience may be evaluated for the Associate level.
