About the Team

The QA Automation team owns UI, API, and functional test automation across Account Servicing, Dispute & Fraud, and Digital Servicing (MUON) product lines, working directly with US-based internal customers. We build and maintain Selenium/Java and Cypress & Playwright-based frameworks, run regression on incremental releases and integrate quality gates into Jenkins CI/CD. The team is actively exploring AI-assisted automation - failure triage, root-cause analysis and test generation to shorten regression cycles and reduce maintenance overhead.

What You Will Be Doing

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts within the enterprise framework (Selenium + Java, REST Assured, BDD), Cypress/Playwright (either of the two).
• Execute manual and automated regression on incremental product releases; analyze failures and coordinate with technical and business teams to drive defects to closure.
• Analyze business and technical requirements to formulate test plans per enterprise methodology; apply risk-based test design to meet delivery timelines.
• Integrate suites into Jenkins pipelines; manage framework dependencies and artifacts via Nexus.
• Track test cases, defects, and execution in Jira; produce coverage and results reports with actionable insights.
• Review peers' automation code; reduce maintenance overhead and keep automated tests relevant over time.
• Cordinate and collaborate with team members with no/less supervision across multiple projects.
• Manage US internal-customer expectations from a delivery standpoint.
• Contribute to evaluation of JS-based tooling (Playwright/Cypress) and AI-assisted testing initiatives.

What You Bring

• 5+ years professional experience, 3+ years building automation scripts; bank card / payments domain preferred.
• Strong Selenium WebDriver with Java - Page Object Model, TestNG/JUnit, Maven, file and exception handling, database connectivity, result reporting, Good To have JS with either Cypress or Playwright.
• API automation with REST Assured; BDD framework development (Cucumber).
• Data-driven testing using external databases or data sources.
• Working knowledge of Jenkins, Nexus, and Git; solid grounding in SDLC/STLC and Agile/Scrum.
• Strong manual test-case design and execution across positive, negative, and regression techniques.
• BE / B.Tech / MCA / M.Tech.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to translate business needs into technical solutions and explain technical solutions to business users.
• Adaptable, team-oriented, and results-driven, with strong time skills.

Added bonus if you have:

• Jira (workflows, dashboards, test management); exposure to SoapUI.
• Java certification.
• JavaScript/TypeScript with Cypress or Playwright.
• Cross-browser / cloud-grid execution, Docker.
• Interest in applying AI/LLM tools to test generation, triage, or root-cause analysis.
