Our client is a renowned private bank with an international footprint and a strong commitment to regulatory excellence. As part of its continued growth, the organisation is seeking an experienced AML/KYC Officer to join its Compliance function.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct risk-based customer due diligence reviews for new client onboarding and account opening activities.
- Assess and validate KYC documentation, ownership structures, source of wealth/source of funds information, and client risk classifications.
- Perform ongoing monitoring and periodic review activities to ensure client records remain accurate and compliant with regulatory and internal requirements.
- Partner closely with relationship managers and business stakeholders, providing practical guidance on AML, KYC, and regulatory matters.
- Support investigations into potential compliance concerns and escalate issues where appropriate.
- Assist with regulatory reporting obligations and interactions with external parties, including auditors and supervisory authorities.
- Contribute to risk assessments, control reviews, regulatory change initiatives, and compliance-related projects.
- Participate in the development and delivery of compliance awareness and training programmes across the business.
- Help strengthen the organisation's framework for identifying, managing, and mitigating financial crime and regulatory risks.
Candidate Profile
- Degree in Law, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- at least 5 years of experience gained within Compliance, Financial Crime, Audit, Risk, Legal, or a related function in the financial services sector.
- Strong knowledge of AML/CFT regulations, customer due diligence requirements, sanctions screening, and financial crime controls.
- Good understanding of corporate entities, legal structures, and client documentation requirements.
- Experience working in a regulated banking, wealth management, asset management, or financial services environment.
- Professional fluency in English and French is highly desirable; additional European languages would be considered an advantage.
