About the Team & Business Line:



Fund Administration is Citco's core business, and ouralternative asset and accounting service is one of the industry's mostrespected. Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions meansour people are equipped to deliver a seamless client experience.




Responsibilities






Your Role:

• You will review and if required prepare Net Asset Value calculations, which includes: Cash and Portfolio Reconciliations, Income and Expense Accruals, Partner/Shareholder Allocation calculations, Financial Statement preparation and trial balance review as per client deadlines.


• Manage and monitor the timing and quality of client deliverables


• Interact with senior management and clients; help establish plan for new client setup and transitions


• Help coordinate, manage, and monitor external audit process


• Interact with clients for their queries, or to obtain clarification on transaction processing requests; provide technical accounting/industry knowledge to clients


• Coordinate with Operations group, Tax group, Investor Relations group, Financial Statement group, and other groups at Citco


• Review client funds' partnership agreements, PPMs, and other materials


• Be part of the Implementation of fund structures on accounting system


• Interact daily with PandL team on valuations and price analysis


• Prepare ad hoc reports as needed


• Guide and mentor junior colleagues within the team as required


• Ensure all Citco best practices are applied for the client deliverables and any issues remediated

Qualifications






About You:

• You have an Accounting / finance background with relevant experience - evidenced by:
  
  
  
  • A Bachelor degree in accounting, finance or economics AND
  
  
  • Demonstrated 3+ years of work experience at hedge fund accounting or investment companies fund accounting with derivative instruments and external investors.
  
  


• Nearly qualified or completed CA, CMA, CGA, CPA or CFA designation (preferred - not must have).


• Strong working understanding of investment strategies and financial products (including derivatives).


• Experience as a reviewer capacity of deliverables and managing delivery for clients.


• Some successful supervisory/management experience (preferred - not must have)


• Demonstrate that you are comfortable working in an operations model where you have to co-ordinate and work with various teams including offshore teams.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Demonstrated financial reporting, analytical and organizational skills.


• Strong Office and Outlook skill set (especially Excel).


• Proven ability to work in a challenging and professional work environment.
