We are currently looking for a Senior Consultant (Snowflake)

Key Responsibilities

• Architect & Implement: Design and deploy end-to-end data architectures using Snowflake and Databricks. This includes data modeling, ingestion (ETL/ELT), and transformation.
• Technical Advisory: Lead discovery sessions to understand customer pain points and provide tailored recommendations on migration strategies.
• Performance Optimization: Audit existing environments to improve query performance, manage compute costs, and ensure efficient scaling.
• Advanced Engineering: Develop robust data pipelines using PySpark, SQL, and dbt. Implement Unity Catalog for governance and Snowpark for extensibility.
• Leadership & Mentorship: Guide junior engineers through best practices in CI/CD, data quality frame working, and DevOps for data.

Required Technical Skills

• Snowflake Mastery: Deep experience with Snowpipe, Streams & Tasks, Zero-Copy Cloning, and Data Sharing.
• Databricks Expertise: Strong command of the Spark engine, Delta Lake, Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold), and MLflow.

Professional Qualifications

• Consulting DNA: 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 2 years in a client-facing consulting role.
• Communication: The ability to translate "technical debt" into "business risk" and "optimized code" into "business value."
• Problem-Solving: A "find a way or make one" attitude when dealing with messy legacy data and ambiguous requirements.
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.
