Job Title : Senior Executive, Marine Underwriting

Responsibilities
• Responsible assisting the Head through effective planning, managing to achieve underwriting budget and underwriting profit in accordance with the company/regulatory guidelines or benchmark.
• Ensure effective and efficient administration of day-to-day business operations in line with SOP across all support functions.
• Assessment of risk acceptance according to underwriting guidelines.
• Prepare Quotations/ modify Quotation Slips of risks.
• Negotiate and define the specific terms of insurance policies with intermediaries or policyholders.
• Monitor the portfolio and metrics related to underwriting activities, processes and risk acceptance rules in accordance with data analytics.
• Assist in updating the underwriting policies and procedures timely.
• Assist in providing technical support for Distributions team.
• Execution of System implementations and UAT testing.

Requirements
• Minimum Degree in any related field
• Minimum 2-3 years working experience in Underwriting
• Marine Underwriting knowledge is an added advantage
• Preferably working in General Insurance industry
