Position Summary

As part of the company's continued growth, organizational transformation, and integration within a broader enterprise environment, we are seeking a Senior Treasury Systems Analyst to support the modernization, optimization, and scalability of Treasury and Finance Operations. This role will play a key part in delivering a significant pipeline of strategic transformation initiatives, including system implementations, process automation, integration projects, and operating model enhancements.

The Senior Treasury Systems Analyst will act as a bridge between Treasury, Finance, Operations, and Technology teams, leveraging deep knowledge of treasury processes and systems to identify opportunities for innovation, efficiency, and control enhancement. The role will support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of treasury technology platforms and related processes across cash management, liquidity management, (FX) risk management, regulatory reporting, and treasury operations.

The successful candidate will combine strong analytical and technical capabilities with hands-on experience in treasury and finance processes, ideally within alternative investments, fund management, or other complex financial services environments. Experience supporting or delivering implementations of Treasury Management Systems (TMS), ERP platforms, reporting, trading and confirmation systems, and related financial technologies is highly desirable.

Reporting to the Treasury Systems Manager and working closely with Finance, Treasury, Technology teams, and external vendors, the role will contribute to the successful delivery of strategic initiatives that enable scalability, operational excellence, and effective integration across the organization.

Primary Responsibilities

Transformation, Implementation, and Process Improvement (40%)
  • Support workstreams within Treasury transformation, integration, automation, and system implementation projects.
  • Analyze Treasury and Finance Operations processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, controls, and scalability.
  • Gather business requirements, coordinate testing activities, and support the successful delivery of system enhancements and implementations.

Treasury Systems Control, Maintenance. and Enhancement (30%)
  • Support the administration, maintenance, and automation of Treasury systems and related platforms.
  • Monitor system data, interfaces, and controls to ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of information.
  • Investigate and resolve system and process issues, working with internal stakeholders and external vendors as required.
  • Maintain process documentation and support user training and adoption initiatives.

Stakeholder Support, Business Analysis, and Operational Excellence (30%)
  • Respond to regular and ad-hoc requests from internal teams (Deal and Portfolio Management, Finance Operations, Technology, Compliance etc.).
  • Partner with Treasury teams to identify and address operational inefficiencies, control gaps, and process bottlenecks.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to support process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Act as a bridge between business users, technology teams, and vendors to ensure operational challenges are translated into effective solutions.

Requirements

Education & Certificates
  • Bachelor's degree, required
  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Finance and Technology or a related field preferred.

Professional Experience
  • Minimum of 4 years in Treasury, Treasury Operations, Treasury Systems, Finance Transformation, or a related function within financial services required.
  • Strong understanding of treasury processes, including cash management, liquidity management, (FX) risk management, and treasury controls.
  • Demonstrated experience in business process analysis, requirements gathering, testing, and change management, or supporting, enhancing, and implementing treasury and finance systems in a business-facing role.
  • Experience within alternative investments, asset management, private equity, fund management environments, or Implementation consulting is a plus.

Competencies & Attributes
  • Strong understanding of treasury processes.
  • Ability to assess operational impact of system and process changes.
  • Familiarity with TMS solutions payment hubs, BAM and liquidity management software.
  • Exposure to data analytics, reporting, BI tools (e.g. Sigma Computing, Power BI, SQL..
  • Understanding of systems integration concepts, data flows, APIs, and process automation.
  • Ability to understand scripts, queries and technical documentation to support troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Experience working with low-code/no-code platforms and workflow automation tools (e.g. Appian, Power Automate) to improve operational processes is preferred.
  • Exposure to emerging technologies, including AI-enabled solutions, and the ability to identify practical opportunities to improve processes, controls, and user experience.

The compensation range for this role is specific to Amsterdam and takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to the skill sets required/preferred; prior experience and training; licenses and/or certifications.
