About the role:

Lead and deliver multiple data center infrastructure projects, including technology upgrades, hardware refreshes, system implementations, decommissioning, and consolidation initiatives. Partner closely with technical teams to drive successful project execution, manage risks and dependencies, and ensure projects are delivered on time and aligned with business objectives.

About the team:

Join the FIS MIT Project Management team, which oversees infrastructure and technology initiatives that support operational excellence and cost optimization. You'll collaborate with engineering, operations, architecture, and business stakeholders to deliver projects that enhance technology capabilities and improve operational efficiency.

What you will be doing:

• Manage infrastructure and data center projects from initiation through implementation and closure.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to execute technology changes, deployments, upgrades, and migration activities.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, risk assessments, and stakeholder communications.
• Establish and document standard processes for data center-related projects and change activities.
• Provide guidance, training, and best practices to project managers supporting infrastructure initiatives.

What you will need:

• 5+ years of project management experience delivering infrastructure and data center-related projects.
• Demonstrated experience managing projects involving: Servers, storage, and backup solutions Networking infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls) Virtualization technologies (VMware preferred) Data center migrations, upgrades, deployments, or consolidation activities
• Strong understanding of enterprise data center operations and infrastructure lifecycle management.
• Experience coordinating technical teams across multiple infrastructure disciplines.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent infrastructure projects within structured governance frameworks.

Added bonus if you have:

• Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile, Scrum, or other project management certifications.
• Experience with: Data center power and cooling systems Structured cabling and rack infrastructure Enterprise storage and backup platforms Data center relocation, consolidation, or decommissioning projects Disaster recovery and business continuity programs Infrastructure modernization and technology refresh initiatives
• Working knowledge of: VMware and enterprise virtualization platforms Network infrastructure and security technologies Cloud integration within hybrid infrastructure environments
• Experience within financial services, fintech, or other highly regulated environments.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale infrastructure transformations involving geographically distributed teams.
