Financial Accountant

The Financial Accountant supports the financial operations of a Singapore-based family office, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, statutory and management reporting, and high-quality consolidated reports for senior stakeholders. This role is essential for maintaining the financial health of a multi-entity structure, including holding companies, trusts, and investment vehicles.

Role Overview

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for preparing and consolidating financial statements across multiple entities on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. The role involves leading the production of consolidated reporting packages, managing intercompany eliminations, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes. The incumbent reports to senior stakeholders, including the CFO and Principal, and maintains detailed documentation of consolidation models and processes. The role requires a strong technical accounting capability, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver clear financial insights.

• Process journals, accruals, prepayments, and adjustments
• Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements across multiple entities
• Lead the preparation of consolidated reporting packages, including group balance sheet, P&L, and cash flow statements
• Perform consolidation adjustments and intercompany eliminations
• Conduct variance analysis (actual vs budget/prior periods)
• Maintain consolidation models and documentation
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
• Process journals, accruals, prepayments, and adjustments
• Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes

• CA/CPA/ACCA qualified or in progress preferred
