Job Description
- Manage end-to-end middle office operations, including trade support, lifecycle management, reconciliations, and confirmations.
- Ensure daily BAU activities are completed accurately and within agreed timelines and control standards.
- Act as a key escalation point for operational issues, breaks, and exceptions.
- Partner closely with front office, risk, finance, and compliance teams on operational and control matters.
- Identify process inefficiencies, control gaps, and operational risks, and implement enhancements.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team to maintain high performance and strong control discipline.
- Support internal and external audits, regulatory reviews, and risk control assessments.
A successful Operations Manager should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in banking operations or middle office functions.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of trade lifecycle management, reconciliations, and operational risk.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for operations management.
