• On behalf of our client, an independent Swiss asset management firm with over two decades of specialist expertise in convertible bonds, and a growing range of fixed income and alternative credit strategies, we are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Relationship Manager - Institutional Clients (M/F), based in Lausanne.
  
  This hire will strengthen the firm's institutional sales capabilities in Romandie and potentially Ticino. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with institutional investors and promoting a range of investment solutions, including long-only convertible bond strategies and an alternative long/short credit strategy.
  
  This is a growth-oriented role offering significant autonomy and direct exposure to senior decision-makers within institutional investment organisations.
  
  Responsibilities:
  
  
  
  
  • Originate and develop new institutional client relationships across Romandie and potentially Ticino, targeting pension funds, insurance companies, banks, family offices, asset managers, consultants and other professional investors.
  
  
  • Represent the firm's investment capabilities and communicate complex investment concepts to sophisticated investor audiences.
  
  
  • Lead client meetings, portfolio reviews, due diligence discussions and fundraising initiatives.
  
  
  • Work closely with portfolio managers and senior management on business development activities.
  
  
  • Maintain a strong understanding of financial markets, investment products and competitor positioning.
  
  
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective institutional clients.
  
  
  • Maintain CRM records and contribute to broader strategic growth initiatives.
  
  
  
  Requirements:
  
  
  
  
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in institutional sales, relationship management, fund distribution, business development or a similar client-facing role within financial services.
  
  
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or equivalent
  
  
  • CFA, CAIA, CIIA/AZEK or similar professional qualifications are an advantage.
  
  
  • Demonstrable experience selling investment products or solutions to institutional investors.
  
  
  • Existing network within the Swiss Romand institutional investor market; international networks and relationships outside Switzerland are also welcomed.
  
  
  • Solid understanding of financial markets and asset management, with good knowledge of fixed income, alternative investments and portfolio construction.
  
  
  • Knowledge of convertible bonds, credit markets and alternative credit strategies is an advantage.
  
  
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, comfortable discussing investment performance, market developments and portfolio positioning with professional investors.
  
  
  • Native French speaker, ideally from Romandie, with business-fluent English.
  
  
  • Dynamic, entrepreneurial and self-motivated, ideally in the earlier stages of your career, with strong interpersonal and networking skills and a natural ability to build relationships.
  
  
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of business development initiatives.
  
  
  • Professional, credible and confident in front of sophisticated investor audiences.
  
  
  • Willing to travel regularly within Switzerland.
