Finance, Regulatory Reporting Analyst

cer Financial are working alongside an international bank, who are based in London. They are seeking a Finance, Regulatory Reporting Analyst to work with them on a permanent basis.

The responsibilities will include:

1. Prepare regulatory, statutory and tax returns for FCA, PRA, BOE, EBA and HMRC.
2. Produce monthly management accounts, reports and variance analysis.
3. Complete reconciliations, financial statements and daily accounting duties.
4. Maintain fixed assets, accruals and prepayment records.
5. Support Nostro/Suspense account reconciliations and investigate issues.
6. Assist with regulatory reporting and annual financial statements.
7. Help implement Temenos and improve Finance processes.
8. Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency.
9. Support projects, data analysis and new regulatory requirements.
10. Requires strong accounting, technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.

The successful candidate:

1. Accounting qualification or working towards one.
2. 2–4 years’ experience in finance, banking or audit.
3. Strong IT skills, especially Advanced Excel.
4. SQL or Python experience is an advantage.
5. Good understanding of accounting principles.
6. Temenos experience is desirable.
7. Experience with data mapping, regulatory systems and migrations.
8. Good knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements.
