A growing, listed pharma / biotech business is looking to recruit a Financial Accountant. The Financial Accountant will report to the Group Financial Controller and will take ownership of the monthly reporting and analysis. This Financial Accountant position is a great first step after recently qualifying and will provide a fantastic springboard for your career. The company is growing and will preset plenty of opportunities to progress and develop quickly over the next 2-3 years.
The Financial Accountant will take a lead role in the production of monthly financial accounts, analysis and reporting, review of balance sheet, provide analysis of the P&L and supporting commentary and provide cash flow forecasting to the business. The Financial Accountant is a key hire for the business as part of its plan to grow and upskill the finance team. Therefore this individual will take on a great deal of responsibility and will have a big impact on the way finance processes are implemented moving forwards.
Alongside being a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent) this individual will require a keen eye for detail and have an enthusiasm for improving processes. You will not need exposure to the pharma or healthcare sector but will need the ability to work within a fast paced & ever changing environment.
