Fund Controller - Private Credit - London
A great opportunity has arisen within a rapidly growing Private Credit investment firm who are seeking a Fund Controller to bolster their finance and operations team, as they take on new fund mandates.
This is a hybrid working role and the firm are open hearing from candidates who are either looking for a contract or a more permanent role.
Salary is would be in the range £75,000-£90,000+ or Day Rate £475-£550 per day depending on experience.
The fund finance and operations team sit and work very closely with the front office/transaction team and are an integral part of the business. The firm run a number of Credit investment strategies and the Fund Controller will have responsibility for oversight of the flagship direct lending closed ended Lux based fund.
You will take ownership for:
- Quarterly fund reporting and investor queries
- Fund liquidity management, drawdowns and distributions
- Review fund valuations
- Review statutory accounts in relation to the LPA's
- Monthly reporting packs
- Checking compliance with the fund mandates and legal docs
- System & process developments
The ideal profile will:
- Be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA, CPA)
- Have working knowledge of Credit / Debt funds
- Strong understanding of Closed Ended Lux based fund structures
- Have 4+ years of fund accounting / fund controlling experience in the private credit/private equity sector
- A strong communicator and self-starter
