Goodman Masson are searching for an Investment Accountant to join a leading global Private Equity firm. This is a great opportunity for a qualified accountant to gain unrivalled exposure to the private equity industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and "real time" processing of underlying Call and Distribution Notices and recording of expenses in bespoke Investment Monitoring system.
- Oversight and review of all portfolio investments underlying valuations, primarily from GP provided Capital Accounts, using sound judgement and interpretation.
- Collation, testing and provision of Quarterly and Annual valuations for inclusion in Accounts, LP meetings, reporting requirements and ad hoc investor circulars.
- Partnering with Middle Office/IT teams to innovate market-leading investment platform functionality.
- Aiding in forecasting and monitoring cash requirements for the Funds, ensuring sufficient liquidity to meet Investment costs and expenses whilst maximising returns to Investors.
- Assist in the preparation of a weekly reporting pack to be distributed to senior management.
- Daily monitoring and weekly reconciliation of their database to that of our administrator.
Key Attributes:
- Recently qualified Accountant
- Practice trained and / or Fund Accounting experience (either in house or at an administrator) - preferred
- Strong Excel skills
