UK Investment Banking is the one of the highest profile teams within the Investment Banking Division, reflecting the importance the UK's status as the largest market for investment banking fees in Europe. The team seeks to build and maintain long-term relationships with major UK corporates and private equity firms,
Role description:
Desired profile, qualifications and knowledge required:
Experience of working within M&A within Investment Banking or a boutique advisory firm preferred, focus on UK market & exposure to UK public takeovers desirable
Distinctive academic record: consistently highly rated versus their peer group
Solid analytical skills, including ability to perform data analysis
Strong interpersonal skills - ability to interact confidently with clients and banking professionals
Team work - experience of working in a project based environment with tight deadlines and as part of a broader team
Fluent in English is required - highly articulate with strong verbal and written communication skills
