The Senior AI Integration Engineer plays a key role in turning AI capability into real-world impact - taking solutions from experimentation into secure, scalable, production-ready deployment. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on integrating AI into applications, building reliable backend services, and ensuring solutions can perform effectively in live environments. The role combines technical depth with practical delivery responsibility and will suit someone who enjoys solving real integration challenges rather than staying at proof-of-concept stage.

You'll make an impact by:

• Designing, building and owning end-to-end AI solutions, from secure, scalable integration through to deployment and ongoing support.
• Developing robust backend services and API orchestration to enable reliable, production-grade AI applications.
• Ensuring operational excellence through monitoring, error handling, performance optimisation, scaling and Azure-based production deployments.
• Embedding responsible AI practices by implementing appropriate guardrails, controls and governance throughout solutions.
• Collaborating across disciplines and raising engineering standards, working closely with architecture, product and AI teams while coaching and supporting junior engineers.

• Strong backend engineering expertise with experience in platform integration and delivering production-ready software solutions.
• Hands-on Azure experience, including designing and supporting secure, scalable deployments in cloud environments.
• Experience integrating AI or data-driven services into applications or operational workflows.
• Solid understanding of APIs and production operations, including reliability, monitoring, deployment and support practices, with practical use of Python and SQL.
• Delivery-focused collaborator with strong communication skills, able to drive workstreams to completion while meeting governance, compliance and responsible AI requirements.
