A broad role awaits you to review and oversee fund accounts prepared by external administrators and to mentor junior accountants in the team. You will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with requisite fund accounting experience gained from within Private Equity or Private Debt funds.
An exciting opportunity to join an established private debt fund manager in central London. A broad role awaits you to review and oversee fund accounts prepared by external administrators and to mentor junior accountants in the team. You will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with requisite fund accounting experience gained from within Private Equity or Private Debt funds.
The Role:
- Detailed review of quarterly and annual fund and SPV accounts prepared by administrators.
- Review fund drawdown and distribution notices to LPs.
- Oversee management fee calculations, fund invoicing and payments.
- Liaise with the auditors regarding audit of the annual accounts.
- Assist in reviewing investor tax reporting (US, UK).
- Liaise with administrators on KYC items across all vehicles / structures.
- Assist with ad hoc investor queries.
- Working with the asset management team to maintain accurate loan data.
- Ensure smooth operation of payment and loan authorisation processes.
- Review borrower loan statements prepared by administrator.
- Maintain Fund / Loan performance models (actual and forecast).
- Cash-flow forecasting, liquidity and treasury work.
Requirements:
- You must be degree educated and be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Current/previous experience in a fund accounting role within Private Debt or Private Equity
- Excellent all round interpersonal skills
- Self-starter, flexible approach with the ability to work as part of a small team and use your initiative.
