Senior Consultant - Rewards and People Advisory - 12 month FTC



We are currently growing our UK Talent & Reward Advisory team and are looking to hire a Senior Consultant to join our busy practice based in the City of London. The Advisory team is part of the wider Human Capital Solutions practice.



This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from the London office, on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.




The Talent Advisory Team



We partner with clients to develop talent and reward approaches tailored to their business strategy, operating model and culture. We support clients across a broad range of topics, including total reward strategy, employee value proposition design, job architecture and levelling, future skills, culture alignment, pay transparency, people analytics, performance management, and incentive design.



Our work spans organisations of all sizes, from high-growth businesses to some of the world's leading global brands. We also support clients through periods of significant change, including mergers, acquisitions, organisational redesign and transformation programmes.



As part of the wider EMEA Advisory team, you will work closely with colleagues across the UK and internationally to deliver innovative and practical client solutions.

What the Day Will Look Like

• Support clients in addressing workforce challenges through talent, reward and broader people solutions.


• Deliver high-quality project work across a variety of talent and reward engagements, ensuring accuracy, quality and timely delivery.


• Manage project workstreams and coordinate activities across project teams where appropriate.


• Analyse data, develop insights and contribute to recommendations that help clients make better workforce decisions.


• Build trusted relationships with clients and support project leads in managing stakeholder interactions.


• Contribute to proposal development, client presentations and business development opportunities.


• Help develop thought leadership, market insights and intellectual property across the Advisory practice.


• Collaborate with colleagues across Aon's Human Capital Solutions businesses to bring integrated solutions to clients.


• Work in accordance with Aon's Risk Management Framework and all applicable company policies and procedures.

Skills and Experience That Will Lead to Success

• Experience in Total Reward, Pay Transparency, Rewards Analytics, People Analytics, Job Architecture, Talent Management or related advisory fields.


• Experience supporting and delivering consulting projects, ideally within a client-facing environment.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and translate findings into practical recommendations.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues across different teams and geographies.


• Strong organisational and project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.


• Curious, commercially aware and motivated to develop consulting and business development skills.


• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where challenges often require creative and pragmatic solutions.
