Commercial Finance Consultant

We are partnering with one of the biggest telecommunications companies in the country in their search for a Commercial Finance Consultant to lead on commercial finance process transformation, leveraging data and analytics and supporting change management within the division.

This role will run for 6 months (with potential scope for extension), offers hybrid working (only 2 days per week in the office), and will pay up to £600 per day OUTSIDE IR35 for the right candidate.

This high-profile position presents a fantastic opportunity to build relationships at various levels and work with numerous stakeholders across Commercial Finance and the Consumer Commercial Teams.

What you will do:

As the Commercial Finance Consultant, you will be reporting into the Head of Finance for the division, and will focus on reviewing existing commercial finance processes and highlighting gaps in terms of quality, depth and accuracy of the data used. You will partner with Commercial and Commercial Finance teams to co-create dashboards/analytics solutions to drive decision making, along with supporting change management efforts by building data and digital literacy within consumer converged division.

What you will need:

• Prior commercial (commercial excellence/performance management/commercial finance) experience within FTSE100 or similar setting is essential.
• Strong analytical mindset: demonstrated analytical approach to understand the impact of the way data and reporting is interpreted and utilised for decision making.
• Able to develop rapport and credibility with key stakeholders and comfortable leading without authority across various functions.
• Self-starter, able to think creatively and break new ground whilst being a change catalyst.
