Portfolio Analyst - Trust Administration
The incumbent provides support to the Wealth Managers, with the responsibility of coordinating terminating accounts with the Distribution Unit. This will include preparing the necessary paperwork and documentation required to send a closing package to the Distribution Unit. This may include working with various departments, including Legal, to ensure all information is correct. The incumbent will also assist the Wealth Managers with administration of the Private Foundation Accounts. This may include soliciting grant requests from various learning institutions and charities, logging and reviewing applications received from students for scholarship awards, following up with institutions to ensure all the documentation is received prior to the private foundation fiscal tax year, and maintaining an Excel spreadsheet with all the private foundations for the team to ensure all payments are made within the fiscal tax year. The incumbent will handle some of the day-to-day administrative and client services request. An overview of general responsibilities is as follows, but is not limited to:
  • Sending trades on behalf of wealth managers
  • Opening new accounts/distribute accounts
  • Liquidating accounts
  • Sending payments via Check, ACH and wire
  • Reading and referencing trust documents for various uses


Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience. Proficiency with Excel is preferred. Candidate should be able to manage multiple projects. Knowledge of trusts is preferred.
