The Opportunity

The Legal Analyst is responsible for providing legal research, contract and documentation support, legal operations assistance, and administrative coordination to help ensure the effective and efficient delivery of legal services across the United Arab Emirates and the Gulf region . The role supports the Legal Department in managing legal matters, maintaining documentation, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and assisting with compliance-related activities while contributing to the achievement of MetLife's business objectives.

The successful candidate will work closely with experienced legal professionals and business partners, providing practical support on legal projects that have a direct impact on the organization's operations and strategic priorities.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to conduct legal research, assist with the preparation and review of legal documents, support regulatory and compliance initiatives, and contribute to the management of legal records and processes. You will gain valuable experience working across multiple business functions and interacting with a diverse range of stakeholders, including internal clients, regional teams, and external service providers.

The Legal Analyst will play an important role in helping the Legal Department operate efficiently by organizing legal documentation, compiling information for legal analysis, supporting the preparation of reports and presentations, and helping to ensure that legal matters are managed in a timely and professional manner. The role also offers opportunities to leverage modern technologies, including AI-enabled tools, to enhance productivity, research capabilities, and operational effectiveness while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, confidentiality, and professional integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and analyze relevant laws, regulations, and legal developments to support the Legal Department.
• Draft, review, and maintain legal documents, correspondence, reports, and presentations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Organize and manage legal records, files, and documentation to support efficient legal operations and knowledge management.
• Support legal and compliance initiatives by compiling information, tracking matters, and assisting with the implementation of legal processes and best practices.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external parties to facilitate timely responses to inquiries and effective execution of legal activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and confidentiality.
• AI fluency, including the ability to effectively use AI-powered workplace tools responsibly to enhance research, analysis, productivity, and day-to-day work activities

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior internship or work experience in a legal, compliance, regulatory, or corporate administrative environment.
• Experience using legal research tools, document management systems, or other legal technology platforms.
• Relevant certifications or training in legal studies, compliance, contract management, or AI-enabled productivity tool
