Commercial Team Manager

London OR Southampton- Salary - up to £80,000 (depending on experience)

Ready to take your insurance management career to the next level? We're looking for a Commercial Team Manager to lead a dynamic and high-performing team. You will be Based in Central London, managing a home-based team located across Thames Valley area, with brokers also concentrated in these areas. Regular travel to the Thames Valley Area will be required to support your team and broker relationships effectively.

A bit about the job:

As our Commercial Team Manager, you'll lead a large team of underwriters and have overall accountability for:

• Delivering outstanding customer service and market-leading solutions.

• Driving profitable growth and capability development.

• Maintaining governance standards and foster team engagement.

• Making confident decisions and manage shifting priorities.

• Building lasting relationships with brokers and internal stakeholders.

Skills and experience we're looking for:

• Leadership & People Skills: You're a natural leader who can inspire, communicate clearly, listen actively, and negotiate effectively.

• Insurance Experience: We're looking for someone with a background leading teams within Insurance - an Underwriting background would be our preference, but other sector disciplines will be considered!

• Industry Connections: Your relationships in the market are top-notch, and you know how to leverage them.

• Analytical & Presentation Skills: You can analyse risk and present solutions to brokers and clients with confidence.

• Love of Learning: You're always curious, eager to learn, and excited to improve and grow both personally and professionally.
