Our client is looking for a Software Engineer to join a highly skilled team delivering world-class, security-focused software solutions. You'll need a solid background in software development, including agile working, programming, and testing across the full development lifecycle.
Working Patterns and location - Fully on site
Key responsibilities
• Deliver high quality, well-tested software solutions on time and within budget.
• Take ownership of a significant technical area with defined authority and responsibility.
• Work closely with customers to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
• Establish technical objectives and define clear roadmaps for delivery teams.
• Delegate responsibilities effectively across engineering teams.
• Influence technical direction and resourcing at a senior stakeholder level.
• Contribute to winning and growing new opportunities that protect critical infrastructure.
Skills & experience
• Proven experience working in agile software development environments.
• Strong programming skills across one or more languages.
• Solid background in software testing methodologies and practices.
• Experience in end-to-end application development.
• Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
• Ability to engage and influence customers and senior stakeholders on technical matters.
• Experience defining technical strategy, objectives, and delivery roadmaps.
The client would also like to see some of the below, but this is not essential:
• Knowledge of security solutions or prior experience delivering a security-focused project.
