The role
Your key areas of focus will include:
- Administering pension casework for deferred, active, and retired members, including retirement calculations, transfers, leavers, and death cases.
- Answering member enquiries and providing clear, reliable guidance on pension matters via written correspondence and case management.
- Updating and maintaining member records compliantly, adhering to GDPR requirements and scheme rules.
- Supporting the consulting team proactively on client queries and technical pensions issues.
- Consistently meeting agreed SLAs and key performance metrics while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
What you'll bring
Our client is looking for someone with a strong background in pensions administration, ideally spanning both DB and DC schemes.
Specifically, you'll be able to demonstrate:
- A track record working across pensions products, including manual calculations and scheme event processing.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail in everything you produce.
- The ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with clients, colleagues, and providers.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment.
Desirable:
- Progression towards a pensions qualification (e.g., PMI or equivalent).
- Experience mentoring or coaching junior team members.
