SUMMARY:



The role is a senior global network infrastructure leadership position responsible for setting the strategic direction, governance, and operational excellence of a highly dynamic and globally connected network environment. This leader will oversee the design, evolution, and delivery of large-scale enterprise network and voice services spanning data centers, WAN, cloud platforms, and collaboration environments across multiple regions. The position requires deep expertise in enterprise networking, cloud connectivity, voice and telecommunications services, and large-scale infrastructure transformation initiatives, combined with a proven track record of leading high-performing global teams.



The role provides executive leadership for network and voice strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, security standards, and operational resiliency goals. Responsibilities include oversight of Cisco-based infrastructure, ACI, SD-WAN, AWS networking, voice and collaboration technologies, IPC trader voice platforms, NICE solutions, telecommunications providers, and network service management. This individual will work closely with senior executives, business leaders, technology partners, and regional stakeholders to drive innovation, scalability, service excellence, cost optimization, and long-term infrastructure strategy. Work across the Americas MUFG business providing network services as negotiated between MUFG entities.




WORK EXPERIENCE :



• Significant experience leading and managing global network engineering, infrastructure, and voice organizations across complex enterprise environments

• Extensive senior leadership experience with responsibility for organizational strategy, talent development, succession planning, and large-scale infrastructure operations

• Manage the financial performance, governance, and strategic investment priorities of network services while partnering with executive leadership on technology and business objectives

• Proven experience overseeing the design, deployment, and operation of large-scale, mission-critical enterprise data and voice environments

• Strong working knowledge of enterprise networking technologies including Cisco routing and switching, firewalls, F5 load balancing, VPN solutions, Cisco ACI, SD-WAN, AWS cloud networking, DNS, and multi-site global infrastructure environments

• Deep understanding of enterprise network architectures and technologies including MPLS, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, ACI, VPC, VDC, and broader network operations, monitoring, security, and management frameworks

• Proven experience directing complex network modernization, transformation, and infrastructure initiatives across global environments

• Extensive knowledge of network architecture, enterprise infrastructure, application connectivity, and technology governance frameworks

• Strong expertise establishing network performance, availability, resiliency, and service quality standards, including QoS strategies and operational governance

• Demonstrated success leading large-scale datacenter, WAN, cloud, and digital transformation initiatives, including ACI, SD-WAN, and AWS adoption programs

High level responsibilities include:



• Collaborate with senior business and technology leaders to establish the strategic direction for network and voice infrastructure services across the organization.

• Provide leadership and governance for enterprise network architecture, operational resiliency, service delivery, and technology modernization initiatives.

• Lead capacity planning, infrastructure strategy, and long-term network evolution to support business growth, operational excellence, and emerging technology requirements.

• Oversee the delivery, performance, security, and lifecycle management of global LAN, WAN, cloud, and voice environments.

• Establish enterprise standards, policies, governance frameworks, and best practices for network infrastructure and telecommunications services.

• Drive vendor strategy, telecommunications partnerships, and service provider relationships to optimize performance, service quality, and cost effectiveness.

• Evaluate emerging technologies, infrastructure capabilities, and industry trends to identify opportunities that support innovation and competitive advantage.

• Ensure the successful execution of network transformation initiatives, operational improvements, risk mitigation strategies, and service enhancements.




Details:



• Lead major transformational initiatives including datacenter modernization, infrastructure consolidation, multi-cloud strategy, global connectivity programs, and enterprise technology modernization efforts involving AWS, Office 365, Cisco ACI, SD-WAN, and related platforms

• Provide strategic oversight for infrastructure roadmaps, operational objectives, technology investments, and service delivery priorities across network environments

• Develop and present strategic plans, investment proposals, and transformation roadmaps to executive leadership while ensuring alignment across business and technology stakeholders

• Establish operational goals, governance processes, and performance metrics that support enterprise objectives and service excellence

• Drive cost optimization strategies while ensuring alignment with MUFG standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices

• Lead resolution efforts for highly complex and business-critical infrastructure challenges through collaboration, governance, and executive decision-making

• Analyze operational, risk, and audit trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and infrastructure enhancement

• Define and evolve the long-term enterprise network and voice architecture strategy in collaboration with stakeholders, partners, and business leaders

• Champion innovation initiatives, proof-of-concept evaluations, and emerging technology adoption strategies that support future business requirements

• Embed information security, resiliency, regulatory compliance, and risk management principles into infrastructure governance, operational processes, and organizational culture




EDUCATION:



• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely-related discipline, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience



The typical base pay range for this role is as follows:

• New York / New Jersey: $200k - $280k

depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
