ESIS Recovery Operations Assistant
Job Description
ESIS is seeking a Recovery Operations Assistant to support daily recovery processing, mail handling, and operational coordination within RSI Operations. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate controls over incoming recovery checks, completing cash entry and deposit activities, reconciling wire and ACH payments, and supporting month-end financial reporting. The Recovery Operations Assistant also helps ensure timely handling of correspondence, document indexing, and service requests while partnering with internal teams to support efficient operations.

The pay range for the role is $42,000 to $58,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant's skills and other factors. Key Responsibilities
Check and Wire Processing
- Maintain accurate controls over incoming recovery checks received by mail and forwarded from Chubb and ESIS claim offices.
- Complete daily cash entry, processing, and balancing activities.
- Prepare and process daily deposits using banking software.
- Reconcile wire and ACH payments received through banking systems.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of incoming recovery funds in the Master Check Log.
- Support month-end financial reporting for RSI Operations leadership.
Unit Support and Teamwork
- Respond promptly and accurately to service requests from internal and external customers.
- Support other RSI recovery teams as needed to help ensure operational continuity.
- Identify trends in quality or workflow issues and escalate them to the Team Leader and Operations Manager as appropriate.
Mail and Correspondence
- Handle incoming mail and correspondence, including scanning and indexing documents into the claim system.
- Assist with processing and distributing daily RSI letters to the appropriate parties in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
- 1+ years of administrative, operations, finance, or claims support experience.
- Proficiency with banking software, Microsoft Office applications and other data entry systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, planning ability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
- Familiarity with insurance operations, particularly claims and recoveries, also preferred.
