Christoph Dolleschal will join Münchmeyer Petersen Capital Markets as its head of equity research at the start of July. He joins the firm from HSBC, where he spent four years as its head of German equities research. Dolleschal was also global head of equity & strategy research at Commerzbank before that.
Münchmeyer Petersen Capital Markets is a very new boutique bank formed from a merger between two very old German banking houses. The firm provides research, sales & trading, and corporate finance services to small and medium size companies in the Mittelstand, Germany’s economic backbone..
Münchmeyer Petersen has a team of approximately ten analysts at the moment. Despite the team’s small size and relative novelty, it has some significant names such as Sebastian Ubert, a former SocGen midcap researcher who also served as head of investor relations for vehicle manufacturer Kion.
