Our client is a leading financial services firm within the insurance/banking sector, known for its strong market presence and ongoing investment in digital and system transformation initiatives, and is looking for EDD Officer to join a dynamic team. This role will focus on client onboarding and enhanced due diligence (EDD) within the line of defense, ensuring compliance with AML/KYC regulatory requirements.

The Role

• Perform client onboarding and conduct Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) for new and existing clients
• Review KYC documentation and ensure completeness in line with internal policies and regulatory standards
• Conduct risk assessments, including source of wealth/funds checks and adverse media screening
• Identify and escalate potential AML/CFT risks
• Support line of defense activities, working closely with Compliance and business teams
• Ensure accurate documentation and proper audit trail for all onboarding cases

Your Profile

• Minimum 2 years of AML/KYC/EDD experience within banking or insurance
• Strong understanding of AML/CFT regulations and client onboarding processes
• Hands-on experience in EDD reviews and high-risk client assessments
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
• Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines
• Good communication skills in English; Chinese
